Thanks to the incredible generosity of this community, we are thrilled to announce that the Catalyst Club matching campaign has been fully funded!

More than 240 community members stepped forward with donations of every size, demonstrating that this effort is truly powered by the people who live, work, and care about North Tahoe.

Whether you gave $25, $250, or much more, every contribution mattered. Together, you unlocked the full Catalyst Club match and helped provide the resources needed to continue educating our community throughout the incorporation review process.

What Happens Next?

This summer promises to be an exciting one.

We’re continuing to host community meetups throughout our region, creating opportunities for neighbors to learn more, ask questions, and share their perspectives in a welcoming setting. If you’re invited to one—or would like to host one of your own—we hope you’ll join the conversation.

Our new Community Auction Series is also underway, with unique items and experiences donated by generous community members and local businesses. Every winning bid helps support continued education and outreach while showcasing the incredible spirit of our community.

This is Just the Beginning

Behind the scenes, the incorporation process continues to move forward as well. In the coming weeks, we anticipate that LAFCO will complete the selection of the consultant who will conduct the Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis (CFA), an important independent study that will help evaluate whether incorporation is financially feasible. We’ll continue sharing updates as that work begins.

The completion of the Catalyst Club isn’t the finish line—it’s the foundation for the next phase of this journey.

Together, we’ll continue learning, asking thoughtful questions, sharing reliable information, and engaging our community as our region explores whether town governance is the right next step.
