About Us
We are North Tahoe residents working to give our community a stronger voice in its own future.

We believe you should have more say in the decisions that affect your roads, services, growth, and quality of life. This effort is about one simple question: should North Tahoe have its own town government?
Our goal is to help you understand what incorporation could mean for your community, your family, and the future of the place you call home.
Why We Are Doing This
Too many important decisions that affect North Tahoe are made outside the community.
We believe it is worth asking whether those decisions should be made closer to home, by people who live here and live with the results. For you, that means a stronger local voice and a bigger role in shaping what comes next.
How This Effort Got Here
This work began with Eastern Placer Future, a local nonprofit created to study whether incorporation was a real option for North Tahoe.
That early work helped fund research, gather community input, and support the petition effort that moved this process forward.
The Committee to Incorporate North Tahoe is building on prior and ongoing work by Eastern Placer Future. Learn more HERE.
Now the effort is moving into a more public stage. Eastern Placer Future continues the underlying process work, while the Committee to Incorporate North Tahoe leads public outreach and community engagement.
What This Means for You
You do not need to be an expert to care about this.
If you live here, this effort is about your voice, your community, and your future. Whether you already support incorporation, have concerns, or are still deciding, you deserve clear information and a real chance to be part of the conversation.
